When the Sun Rises Over the Duinen
Sister Moon
She shines on you
Colours of the night
Cloak your shoulders
Where are you going?
Only time will tell
The wild rabbits are nibbling
Along the path
Duinen sing in the darkness
Alongside the stars
Whose bright faces
Peep out from clouds
Wild deer grace the meadow
Where the sun kissed the sweet grasses
Where your head was lying
Eyes closed today
You are sleeping now,
My love
I will meet you soon
When the sun rises over the duinen.
