Merman and Mermaid Journey (Edited)
In the water,
Dolphins and whales serenading.
As waves softly rock.
A sea sprite's kiss
Upon the brows,
Bestowing gifts to us.
Harp and violin, so joyous
A Symphony
of the Sea, it is.
Head Merman as conductor.
Mermaids dance upon waves,
Singing in a chorus.
Kindly, showing us

Below the waves, an invitation awaits.
For one night,
We are merman and maid.
Hand in hand, we swim.
Following our guide
Into the ocean deep.
We visit Neptune, God of the Sea.
The water nymphs serve us tea and cake
In the underwater cafe.
Somehow, it is not bad at all!
To my surprise, cake made of fish is delightful.
Seaweed coffee is tasty, too.
We promise to return in June.
The Great Barrier Reef, it awaits us with
Its wonderous teaming life!
We get to know the schools of fish.
The coral's mating practises-What a sight!
Seal, Penguin, and every creature
in the great Southern oceans we see;
Their Northern cousins next time will be.
